Great service and good. I had seen it was only 3.8 stars for the reviews and I thought it was amazing. My friend and I shared the goulash and we both loved it. The hostess was very warm and friendly as well as our server. Also they had some live entertainment that was great as well.

The service was fantastic, the ambiance was beautiful and very romantic with all of the candles and lovely live music, and the food was superb! My husband was stationed in Germany for many years, and he really loved the entire experience of dining there for his 45th birthday. Thank you for helping us celebrate!

The restaurant is owned by the same people that run Andrew Keller downstairs . The chef is also the same however, the recipes are different. We came the last night of Oktoberfest at around 8pm and was seated right away. There was a party of 20 that was seated before us so we did have to wait a little bit but not too bad for our food. The Mozart platter for two had everything a traditional German dinner should have minus the spatzle that we ordered on the side. Dinner was perfect! The schnitzel was my favorite part! The mustard on the bratwurst was delicious, but the cabbage could've been braised a little bit longer and we were missing some sauerkraut. I wish we made reservations to sit outside so we could enjoy the polka music coming from the festival but I would definitely come back.

Once I looked at the menu I was sold compared to other menus. For a few dollars more, let's have an "elevated" dining experience. First meal in Leavenworth and I wanted Schnitzel and red cabbage so bad. I could wait til dinner. We walked up and immediately felt the cool air conditioner. It was warm out so this was already an elevated experience. It was about 4:30pm and we got seated right away. We were seated right next to a window which was absolutely perfect. Hubby ordered a ribeye platter while I ordered the Schnitzel and omg it was amazing. Everything was SO good. Honestly this was the best red cabbage I have ever had. Everything else will now be compared against this red cabbage. Between the seating, comfortable air conditioning, the friendly staff, tasteful food and the charm of the place made this such a great experience.

I enjoyed a very good dinner here the other evening. Was in town and since it's a German themed area, wanted a good German meal. Made reservations and were seated right away. The room we sat in had seating for about 6 and another two gentlemen were seated in the room. They talked extremely loud and we could hear their entire conversation. I know not the restaurants fault but it was hard for my husband and I to talk. Our server was very efficient and told us the specials right away. We ordered when he came back with drinks. Food wise, it was very good. We didn't want leftovers so we shared the hunters schnitzel. The pork was cooked perfectly, spatzel was nice too, and I really enjoyed the red cabbage steak! We asked for the mushroom gravy on the side and it also had a good flavor! My husband enjoyed a glass of Cabernet and it was okay! All in all a good German meal!

I came here just for the Apple Strudel. It was sweet and delicious. The flavor of the ice-cream was great and was perfect with the warm strudel. The wooden chairs and tables gives the restaurant a European feel, and everything looks very classy.

Probably the nicest dining in Leavenworth Washington. The ambiance is German rustic and upscale for a quaint mountain tourist town. They have live entertainment in the evenings periodically. We started with the fondue, which was the only letdown of an otherwise outstanding meal. Fondue was more of a béchamel and less of a fondue of cheese. Bread wasn't a crusty loaf but sandwich bread cut thick. Shame. I was looking forward to it. The schnitzel didn't disappoint. It was perfect, as were the gravy and the spaetzle. I had a nice Hefeweizen on tap. Perfect meal for someone who hadn't eaten all day and had been on the road 2-1/2 hours to get to Leavenworth. Service was warm, professional and excellent! A great pick if you're visiting this beautiful part of Washington!

What I loved: beautiful ambiance. We sat near a window overlooking a (false) balcony, looking down on the Main Street which was lit up with Christmas lights. Upscale dining compared to the much more relaxed restaurants across the street which are order at the counter, bus your own table affairs. Mozarts has fresh linen table cloths and napkins. A man was playing an accordion and it was fun and absolutely lovely, not too loud. The crème brûlée was AH-MAZE-ING. Like, so amazing. I make it a point to always order crème brûlée as it is my personal mission to find the best crème brûlée in the Pacific Northwest. This might be it. Really, it's so good. What I didn't love: I ordered the fondue so you don't have to. I've read reviews ripping the fondue apart and was skeptical. But it really was as disappointing as others make it sound. The cheese is very mild and warmed by a flame under the dish (nothing wrong with that). It comes with a large plate of things to dip. Half of the plate is a mix of fried russet and sweet potatoes the other half is 4-5 chunks of bread, some sliced sausages, and assorted fruits. This is where it goes downhill. The sausages tasted overcooked and very old... and they tasted of FISH. It tasted to me as if they were the sausages from the day before that were saved for the fondue, and that they were stored in the refrigerator or freezer with fish! Oh how it gave me a nightmare mental image of their food storage. Very sad. But did I mention that the crème brûlée was amazing? I'll be back for that and skip the fondue next time. I'm so sorry to tell you this, but the bad fondue reviews are true.
